Early Access Terms of Service
These Early Access Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Guardrail Labs software made available through the Guardrail API Basic and Pro bundles during the early access period. By downloading, installing, or using any Guardrail Labs software, you agree to these Terms and any license agreement presented at the time of purchase or download.

1. Early Access Program
Guardrail Labs provides the Guardrail API Basic and Pro bundles as early-access software intended for evaluation, integration testing, and limited internal production use. Features, performance, and compatibility may change without notice during this period.
2. License Grant
Subject to these Terms and your applicable purchase agreement, Guardrail Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run the Guardrail API Basic or Pro bundle within your organization for your internal use only.
This license does not permit resale, sublicensing, or offering the software as a hosted or managed service to third parties unless expressly authorized in writing by Guardrail Labs.
3. Restrictions
- You may not redistribute the software except as expressly permitted.
- You may not sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer the software.
- You may not modify, copy, reverse engineer, or decompile the software except to the extent such activity is permitted by law.
- You must protect any license keys, credentials, or download materials provided by Guardrail Labs.
- You may not use the software for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes, or in violation of applicable regulations.
4. Ownership
Guardrail Labs retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Guardrail API, related documentation, and all intellectual property associated with the software. These Terms grant you a license only; they do not transfer ownership.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for securing your deployment of the software, including access control, network configuration, and any data you process through the system. You are also responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
6. No Warranty
The software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guardrail Labs disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guardrail Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Guardrail Labs' total cumulative liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable bundle in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
Guardrail Labs may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms or use the software in a manner that poses a security, legal, or operational risk. Upon termination, you must discontinue use of the software and delete all copies in your possession.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Guardrail Labs is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
